Statement:
The Department of Art at Portland State University and Disjecta present It’s Possible, an exhibition of work by the 2009 graduates of PSU’s Master of Fine Art in Contemporary Art Practice program. Opening with a reception on June 14 and running through July 12, the exhibition brings together work reflecting two years of intensive, interdisciplinary research by students in the Studio Practice and Social Practice streams of the newly expanded MFA.

Portland State University’s Department of Art offers a two-year degree program leading to the Master of Fine Art, Contemporary Art Practice, with an emphasis in either Studio Practice or Social Practice. In addition to a core of directed study, the program offers a foundation in theory and opportunities for critical dialogue through a dynamic visiting artist program.
