About PNCA MFA Program:

A creative hub of artists and designers for nearly 100 years, PNCA offers two Masters programs, the Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies, and in the fall of 2009, the joint Master of Fine Arts in Applied Craft and Design with Oregon College of Art and Craft. These graduate programs are part of a series of innovative programs of the Ford Institute for Visual Education (FIVE).

A Note from Disjecta:

The PNCA show is the third and final show of a student showcase series representing work from Portland’s three foremost visual art programs: OCAC, PSU and PNCA. We hope you had an opportunity to see the OCAC show. The PSU show opened on June 14th and runs through July 12th. And PNCA rounds out the summer with first year MFA work. These shows in sequence offer insight into the body of work each program produces and the arc of the students they teach.
